Bio

Gwenfair is a multi-disciplinary Actor and Creative with extensive experience in the USA and UK Creative Industries. She was based in New York for several years and is a graduate of the renowned Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute, New York, has a B.A in Communications (Drama) from the University of Wales, and is also a graduate of the Commercial Theater Institute, New York.

With a career encompassing a diverse body of work, Gwenfair is an accomplished performer who has been described as a strong, versatile actor with a gift for comedy and drama. She has worked in a variety of accents, and has received critical recognition for her theatre performances. In addition to her acting career, Gwenfair has wide ranging operational experience in the Creative Industries in a UK and US context, which has seen her engaged in key theatrical roles, as a commissioned writer, and in TV production in New York.

Gwenfair's love of performing and the arts started at an early age, as she was raised in the Welsh culture of singing and performing, which later lead her to study for her longstanding career in the Creative Industries. Having played a wide range of characters in television, film, theater, animation, radio, and commercial voiceover in English and Welsh in the UK, she moved to New York. Then focusing her performance career on working in New York theatre and voice sector, Gwenfair worked on New York stages, receiving critical recognition for her performances.

As an actor, she is probably best known for her portrayal of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle in the multi award winning, EMMY award receiving and BAFTA nominated 'Peter Rabbit' international animation series. The first actor to be contracted for the series in New York, she continues to portray the iconic character world-wide on Netflix, Nickelodeon USA, BBC UK, ABC Australia, SKY TV, Apple TV and Amazon Prime.

Gwenfair has also been engaged as an on camera and events presenter in the UK and New York, a role which is suited to her interest in people and ability to think on her feet. She has also enjoyed celebrity facing and EMMYS Guest Presenter roles for The National Television Academy New York, for a number of years, and was delighted to work with the fabulous Graham Norton as an EMMYS Guest Presenter for The International Television Academy. And during this prestigious ceremony, she had the unique experience of being appointed a Special Agent from The United States Secret Service to protect her whilst sharing the stage with Hilary Rodham Clinton and Oprah Winfrey.​​​

​Gladly donating her time to perform at philanthropic events in New York, Gwenfair was honored to act as an annual guest presenter for The Swansea University Dylan Thomas Prize, the international prestigious award for young writers. She also had the pleasure of narrating in the 'Royal Coronations & Pageantry' benefit concert with 'The Royal Choir of St George's Chapel Windsor Castle' to support The British Garden charity, and was ​honored to read First Voice in a benefit reading of Under Milk Wood for the Rutgers Homeless Shelter in New York.
